On disembarking your cruise ship at the port of Piraeus, your private, licensed guide will welcome you at the terminal.  You will enjoy a panoramic drive in your private a/c Mercedes van to the city’s historical center where you will start a walking tour accompanied by your guide. Strolling along the pedestrian walkways, the ancient monuments, highlighted by the Theater of Dionysus, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, come to life as the their story unfolds. After visiting the famous Acropolis, crowned by the Parthenon, Mars Hill awaits you. Here, according to the Bible, Paul spoke to the Athenians about the “unknown God.” You will have the opportunity to experience the same view of the Agora (ancient marketplace) as Paul during his visit in the year 50 AD. Continuing on your Biblical journey, we drive south, passing the Corinth Canal, to reach the remains of the Roman city of Corinth where Paul lived for 18 months. After stopping at the Bema where Paul’s trial took place, you will enjoy an authentic Greek lunch at a local tavern.  This inspiring Biblical Venture ends with a scenic drive to Athens and return to the port of Piraeus.
