Discover the mystery and magic of ancient Greece through an experiential journey focusing on its famous Oracles. This “off the beaten path” retreat allows the travelers to experience the tremendous spiritual power of the ancient sacred sites in a unique exploration of world’s pre- patriarchal roots. Throughout the trip we discuss the importance of the Great Earth Mother goddess worshiped by Neolithic people while detecting its traces in our modern world in a life transforming cultural trip to remember.
Beginning our two-week pilgrimage in Athens, we will journey on the mainland by bus to visit the ancient sacred sites of Dodona, the Nekromanteion, Meteora and Delphi and return to Athens where we visit the Acropolis and Parthenon. Near the end of our retreat, we spend time on the beautiful island of Aegina, a short ferry ride from Athens, where we will visit powerful energetic temple sites, gather in ceremony and experience the lost art of ancient sacred Greek dance.
